Post 6: Postgraduate Studies I´d do a postgraduate course because I’d like delve into an area of expertise like Sustainability or Innovation Technology because then of 20 years the world all the buildings are going to have those features and I think is very important know how work and analyze those buildings, whether it´s in its function, design, the impact it has on the city on the environment and the people who are going to be inside it. I would like to study in Australian or Switzerland because there country either in technology of the vision of Sustainability they have a lot of resources and many construction as an example. I would like to lean the class out on the ground because the theoretical classes is very boring or that it´s mixed but more practical because field trip you can get experiences   that can complement you in your designs and idea also help you in the work places. I was thinking of making an exchange to Australia next year in Sydney to know the co...

I’d like travel a lot in my job because I want meet other country to find out how they implement the different sustainable technologies like Germany, England, Australia, this country they already have buildings whit green roofs or with solar panels  that rep...

One of the famous architects that I have always admired is Zaha Hadid Zaha Hadid was born in Bagdad (Irak) in 1950; she was architect Irak, one of the leading figures of word contemporary architecture. She studied mathematics at the American University of Beirut (Lebanon) and in 1972 moved to London (United Kingdom)to join the architecture Association, where she graduated in 1977 and where she soon after worked as a teacher.  One of her most important works is the Heydar Aliyev cento in Bakú this project the shape of the building is undulating, rises to the sky and merges with the earth. This structure not only has a postmodern style of architecture, but also duration and infinity. Lines symbolize the relationship of the past to the future and the white color symbolizes a promising future The design style implemented by Zaha Hadid is very impressive as it looks difficult to build and achieve since it plays whit the dynamism of the curves not only in this work but in sev...

FAVOURITE SUBJECT

My favorite subject is sustentabilidad Urbana, because this subject I learn how to look the city and planning urban you analyzing city of different country for having example of the concept of sustainable, one sustainable city can help people lives there, have a better quality of life but if you use a bad technique the city was to mess up and generate road disconcertion, incompatibility of uses, environmental pollution. My teacher of this subject is Luz Cardenas, she is an amazing teacher because she forms of teaching are very dynamic and interesting and she shares a lot of bibliographies so that use helps your investigation of one topic.  Also, she sends us books and texts very interesting is highly recommended if you interesting whit the city planning. As an architect is very important to handle this subject because when you create a project you can planning united your project with the city taking the factors mentioned above to make no mistake, causing damage to the city a...

A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE I take this picture when I went to Buenos Aires for the first time, in the last year in the week of Fiestas Patrias, the place that shows this photo is located in Puerto Madero, is a very visited tourist place and a historical point, where it presents a pedestrian walk that shows a nice view, like the Bridge of the woman, designed by the Spanish architect, Santiago Calatrava, the skyscraper buildings that are observed behind and also this site formerly arrived ships with loads of merchandise, You can see in the photo the frigate ARA Presidente Sarmiento, which was the first modern school ship in Argentina. Currently, it works as a museum where it shows the tools used by seafarers and some stories that happened in this port. I really liked this place, I left a very nice souvenir, it is a nice place, quiet and has many restaurants and cafes to visit are a highly recommended trip and would go again.
Environment and my career Today we looking how the climate change affects the plant, like the architect, we have to know how to deal this problem, because we have taken a decision in design form, use of the material and know the location where is you build, because all factor generates an environmental impact. So, we talk about to build a sustainable building, the incorporation of green roofs, and green areas, reduce the use of electricity, because this generates a lot of CO2, we can use renewable energy, this is very economical and uses natural energy. If the city to generating this change and incorporation in all builds, the climate will change and would not be exhausted resources, the health is improved and the quality of life is improved too. So the architect of today, we have a work for a change of city, to apply the resource natural in the build and not energy not conventional because it has a limit and if they become exhausted, will not have material to replace them.

MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY My favorite piece of technology is the smartphone because I use it every time and everywhere. With this device, I can communicate with other people, listen to music, take photos, send messages, play games, watch videos and get a lot of information from the internet. I often use the smartphone for chatting with my friends, family and college mates by Whatsapp, listening to music when I go to the university or my house and watching my favorite series and movies. I also use it for browsing social networks like Facebook or Instagram and searching for information on the internet. I bought mine in Taiwan when I went on vacation because it has a high-quality camera and it's from a brand not very common in Chile. If I didn't have my smartphone, I couldn't be in contact with my beloved ones or do anything when I'm bored.

My career

When I was a child I liked drawing and painting because my father was an amateur painter. I loved his paintings and I wanted to be like him. Also I liked Math because it was easy for me. So when I was choosing a career option. I was thinking between architecture and  engineering but, I chose architecture because I think this career was a combination between art and math. But when I started studying architecture I realized architecture isn’t just a combination of art and Math, but it's also history, urbanism and other factors. But I like this career; this is my 3 rd year, even though I usually have to stay up late for my works and models. I've learned works of architecture in other Countries designed by architect famous. I don’t know now what kind of job I would like to have, but I want to go to study architecture in other country like Japan or China to know architecture and culture of these countries.                ...
